Official Bio
Born in Denmark, spending most of her early childhood growing up in Nigeria and Australia, Ilolo moved back to Denmark without her family, when she was 16 years old to study. After finishing Danish Gymnasium (the equivalent of Secondary School) Ilolo studied Art and English at Teachers College in Copenhagen.
Ilolo spent many years teaching primary school, in public schools and special needs schools. Specializing in the emotional, mental and physical welfare of students. Ilolo has also worked on a number of film sets and movie productions as a childminder and pedagogical advisor.
For a number of years, Ilolo worked in the corporate world as a creative learning consultant and brand manager in an Australian lead leadership development company based in Copenhagen. At the same time Ilolo founded a humanitarian organization that supported orphanages in Kayole, Nairobi, Kenya.
Following the death of her father in early 2020, and a subsequent car accident in September of the same year, resulting in a sustained brain injury, Ilolo moved to Italy in late 2022 to gift herself space and time to deeply heal. At 51, Ilolo started over in Abruzzo, Italy. In December 2024 Ilolo went on a holiday to Sardinia, and immediately fell in love with the magical Island, its people, the energy, nature and the weather. Sardinia is now home.
Throughout her career Ilolo has always returned to her first passion, teaching. Creating libraries, secret reading nooks and art rooms at almost every school she worked in, Ilolo brings creativity to all her work. Ilolo continues to teach both in person in Sardinia and online. Ilolo specializes in teaching Danish students that are experiencing school fatigue, supporting them in keeping up with their curriculum during the periods where they are unable to attend school. Ilolo also specializes in supporting students with special needs during their further studies.
The common thread in all of Ilolo’s work has been and continues to be communication, creativity and well-being. Taking connection, communication, and well-being a step further in September 2025, Ilolo launched “Lulù’s Healing Space”, a mentoring and healing space tailored to individuals, young as well as old, that are looking for a clear, self-paced and practical approach to their healing. Ilolo has brought together all of her extensive knowledge and experience to help her clients reach a level of self-trust and cultivate feelings of profound safety, creating a new and deep sense of ease in how they meet life. Using a blend of energy and body work, the knowledge of the mind-body connection, creative practices, meditation practices and so much more, Ilolo guides her clients with compassion.
Ilolo is simultaneously working on various book projects, including a children’s book series. She also spends time meditating, doing yoga and qigong, hiking, snorkelling, horseback riding in nature, painting, making soups and perfecting her “salsa di pomodoro”. She has recently taken up dancing the traditional Sardinia dance “Ballo Sardo”. Ilolo’s favourite procrastination past time at the moment is watching tiny house and off grid-living videos.
